First snow in CO!
After our first few weeks of sunshine in the mountains, Colorado finally let us have it. We accumulated over 14 inches of snow in 2 days. School was cancelled for Josh and for my preschoolers which can only mean one thing...

Oh, the Places You'll Go!
Folks, it's official. We live here now.
Of course, my lovely DELLilah (the Dell), crashed....again. Just in time to leave me internet free for the better part of our first month here. Valentine's day was our one month-a-versary as Coloradans. We are loving it so far! There is so much to do; new places to discover, mountains to climb! My job is amazing, my co-workers are a group of knowledgeable women who have been in childcare for longer than I have been alive. Seriously. I joke with Josh all the time that I'm the only non-grandma at my workplace, but it's not so much a joke as a slightly humorous reality. At any rate, it's a stress free environment and I adore my director. I'm teaching in the early preschool room, so I spend my afternoons wiping noses, giving hugs, and singing and dancing with a bunch of 3 year olds. If you know me at all, you'll agree with me when I say; I think I have found the perfect fit.
A few pics from the 7 hour roadtrip out west. Colorado or Bust:
The first 2 days were spent unpacking. Josh's family and best friend made the drive, u-haul in tow, to help us move. Adding 7 extra people to the move made for a little craziness, but I honestly don't know we would have done without them. I am so thankful for family and friends who are willing to go out of their way just to help you out. We are very blessed.

After everyone had left, we looked around at our half-finished apartment and said, now what? We got in the car and typed the name of a nearby dog park into the GPS. (Thank Goodness for GPS, by the way, as it has been absolutely essential in navigating us around this new city!) The Forsberg Iron Spring Dog Park is only about 4 miles away from our place, and has an off leash enclosure for the pups to romp around and get to know one another. Penny wasn't sure what to think of all the big guys, but she did chase after a tennis ball and climb up the ramp on the agility course. She must have thought herself to be queen of the mountain, because when the enormous mastiff walked up to the ramp, she barked at him and let him know who was boss. My little pup is 22 lbs of pure ferocity.
A couple pics from the dog park:
Not a bad view, eh?
That's all for now, I'm afraid. I'm off to work, but I will resume posting as soon as I have time! I do want to thank my family and friends for their support, I wouldn't have felt comfortable commencing this journey without my loved ones standing behind me. I love you all!
Happy Friday!
